Dr. Wiggs completed undergraduate and graduate training at the University of South Florida. He completed medical education and training at LECOM-Bradenton, Centerstone Hospital, and Florida Hospital.
Dr. Wiggs was one of the first psychiatrists at Tampa General Behavioral Health Hospital, Florida's first freestanding Behavioral Health Hospital affiliated with an Academic Medical Center. In addition to assisting in the clinical development of the Hospital, Dr. Wiggs managed patient care and also supervised students as an Assistant Professor with the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine.
